Todas las instituciones oficiales o privadas de asistencia y protección infantil y materna, de educación física, etc., que se relacionen con el niño y con la madre, deberán enviar a este Departamento informes sobre su organización, funcionamiento, movimiento estadístico, etc. El Departamento organizará la manera como deben rendirse dichos informes. Las instituciones de Protección Infantil y Materna, sean oficiales o particulares, reciban o nó auxilios del Tesoro Público, deberán ajustar su acción a las normas establecidas o a las que establezca este Departamento.
