El Departamento Nacional de Planeación y los Ministerios respectivos, así como los Institutos descentralizados, si fuere el caso, cooperarán en la realización de los estudios y elaboración de los planes de desarrollo de la ciudad de Barrancabermeja, y una vez aprobados por el Consejo Municipal, se ejecutarán dentro de la órbita que le es propia a cada uno de ellos.
