Repealed

Derogado por el Artículo 18 del Decreto 1688 de 1997 . Son funciones de la Sección de Visitaduría e Investigaciones:

1. Practicar visitas e investigaciones administrativas de oficio o a solicitud de parte, de carácter general o especial, tendientes a evaluar el funcionamiento de las entidades sometidas al control del Departamento y a establecer las posibles irregularidades que puedan presentarse.

2. Elaborar un informe completo y detallado de cada visita e investigación que analice con la mayor profundidad y objetividad los aspectos administrativos financieros, legales, contables, económicos o sociales, de la entidad visitada.

3. Estudiar, evaluar y conceptuar sobre los informes o actas de visitas e investigaciones realizadas por el Departamento y proponer con base a éstas la adopción de las medidas que sean necesarias

4. Las demás que le sean asignadas o le correspondan legal o reglamentariamente.
