La manifestación de una parte de ser cierto el hecho que le perjudica afirmado por la otra, reviste el carácter de confesión, que es judicial si se hace ante Juez competente en razón de la naturaleza de la causa y en ejercicio de sus funciones; y extrajudicial si fue hecha en otra ocasión, en carta misiva, conversación, o cualquier acto o documento no destinado a servir de prueba.
