La Dirección General de Aduanas establecerá la cuantía y demás requisitos de las fianzas que deben tener constituidas cada uno de los Depósitos Francos, como garantía del cumplimiento de sus obligaciones. En cualquier caso, éstas sólo podrán ser otorgadas por bancos o compañías de seguros, debidamente establecidos en el país.
