El Gobierno Nacional, mediante decreto ejecutivo señalará anualmente los honorarios y viáticos que han de devengar los miembros del Consejo Nacional Electoral. Los honorarios y viáticos devengados por los miembros del Consejo Nacional Electoral son compatibles con cualquier pensión de jubilación. Por concepto de honorarios, cada miembro del Consejo Nacional Electoral no devengará mensualmente menos del veinticinco por ciento (25%) de la remuneración total asignada a los Consejeros de Estado.
