El abogado o apoderado que por colusión con la parte contraria, o por cualquier otro fraude, comprometa a la causa que se le confía, o que en una misma causa sirva, a la vez, a partes que tengan intereses contrarios, será castigado con reclusión por dos a veinte meses e interdicción por uno a tres años del ejercicio de funciones públicas, como también de su profesión, y multa de diez a doscientos pesos.
