Los consejos Intendenciales de que trata la Ley 2º de 1943 estarán integrados por ocho miembros principalmente con sus respectivos suplentes, que serán elegidos popularmente en la misma fecha en que se elige Diputados a las Asambleas Departamentales y para un periodo igual al de éstas.
