Ley 4 de 1980 · por la cual se estimula la capitalización del Sector Agropecuario y se dictan normas sobre Fondos Ganaderos, Banco Ganadero y Crédito Agropecuario.

Artículo cuarto. La inversión forzosa ordenada por el artículo 1º de la Ley 42 de 1971 , durará hasta el año 2.000, inclusive, y se hará por mitad en acciones del Banco Ganadero y del Fondo Ganadero correspondiente al lugar donde pastan los ganados.

Sin embargo, el pago podrá hacerse en su totalidad en la oficina del Banco Ganadero correspondiente al lugar donde declare el contribuyente o, a falta de ésta, en la oficina más cercana; será el mismo banco el encargado de distribuir el aporte y entregar la parte debida al respectivo Fondo Ganadero.

Parágrafo

Los contribuyentes cuyo patrimonio líquido invertido en ganado mayor o menor no exceda de doscientos mil pesos ($ 200.000.00), estarán exentos de la inversión de que trata este artículo.
