Modifícase el literal h) del numeral 2 del artículo 299 del Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero, el cual quedará así:

Los bienes dados en leasing, los cuales se transferirán al locatario cuando ejerza la opción y pague el valor respectivo. Si está pendiente el plazo de ejecución del contrato y el locatario no accede a pagar el valor presente correspondiente, el contrato y el bien serán cedidos a otra entidad legalmente facultada para desarrollar operaciones de leasing o en su caso, a la entidad de redescuento que haya proporcionado recursos para realizar la operación.
