Delegaciones. El Ministro de Salud podrá delegar en las instituciones públicas del orden nacional, departamental o municipal, las funciones de vigilancia en salud pública, prevención y control de enfermedades y las de administración, vigilancia y control de aseguramiento mediante convenios de desempeño, conforme a lo dispuesto en el artículo 14 de la Ley 489 de 1998.
