En el adelantamiento y tramitación de los asuntos judiciales y civiles, los Agentes del Ministerio Público se asimilarán a los apoderados judiciales; pero cuando la ley establezca apremios que puedan afectar los intereses confiados a dichos empleados, no se impondrán tales apremios sino el de multas sucesivas hasta de diez pesos cada una a los Personeros Municipales, de veinticinco pesos a los Fiscales de Circuito; de cincuenta a los de los Tribunales Superiores, y de cien pesos al Procurador General de la Nación.
