Si hubiere alguna entidad o compañía nacional que se encargue de construír un ferrocarril en lugar del camino expresado en el artículo 8.°, el Gobierno podrá garantizar hasta el 6 por 100 de interés anual sobre el capital que se invierta en dicha obra y por un término que no exceda de treinta años, contados desde el día en que empiece la explotación del primer tramo de veinte kilómetros.
