Ley 92 de 1938 · Por la cual se dictan algunas disposiciones sobre registro civil y cementerios

El acta de registro de nacimiento deberá expresar:

1º El día y la hora en que tuvo, lugar el nacimiento

2º El sexo, nombre y apellido del nacido y la calidad de legitimo o natural, y

3º El nombre, apellido, edad, profesión u oficio y nacio nalidad del padre, y de la madre, si fu eren conocidos , y el nombre y apellido de los abuelos, tanto paternos como ma ternos. Si se trata de un hij o natural solo se expresaran el nombre de la madre y de los abuelos maternos, si fueren conocidos.
