Ámbito de aplicación. Las operaciones de reporto o repo, simultáneas y de transferencia temporal de valores que celebren las entidades sometidas a inspección y vigilancia de la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia, así como los fondos mutuos de inversión controlados por dicha entidad, deberán sujetarse a lo dispuesto en el presente decreto. Están prohibidas aquellas operaciones que, con independencia de su denominación, tengan características o efectos iguales o similares a las previstas en este decreto sin el cumplimiento de las disposiciones del mismo.
