Los depósitos de inmigración no podrán ser devueltos antes del vencimiento de los plazos señalados en los Decretos 1697 de 1936, 397 y 398 de 1937, sino en caso de muerte, a los herederos del causante, o por salida definitiva del país. Cuando la devolución se solicite por causa de muerte, los peticionarios presentarán con su solicitud la correspondiente declaratoria de herederos, hecha con arreglo al Código Judicial.
