El Instituto se ajustará en su funcionamiento a lo dispuesto en la Ley 30 de 1992 y en el presente estatuto y no podrá desarrollar actividades o ejecutar actos distintos, ni destinar sus bienes o recursos para fines diferentes de los contemplados en estas normas. Los bancos de preguntas utilizados en los exámenes de Estado y pruebas que practique el Icfes tienen el carácter de reservados en los casos determinados por la Ley.
