El titular minero o explotador minero realizar muestreos de material particulado en cada frente de trabajo y en las instalaciones en superficie, por lo menos una vez al año o antes si se realiza alguna modificación en el proceso de explotación o cuando haya un nuevo frente de trabajo, al igual que para medir la eficacia de los sistemas de control implementados, utilizando métodos validados y tomando las precauciones necesarias para cumplir con los Valores Límites Permisibles (VLP) establecidos por la ACGIH - Conferencia Americana de Higienistas Industriales Gubernamentales.
