Art. 1.° Condónase a la señora Vicenta Castillo, viuda del finado doctor Nicolás González Chávez, la cantidad de cuatro mil pesos ($ 4,000) que, en calidad de préstamo, concedió a éste la lei 83 de 1876 para la publicacion de la "Historia Militar de Colombia2. En consecuencia, el Poder Ejecutivo mandará cancelar la correspondiente escritura.

Parágrafo

El fiador del señor González Chávez por los espresados cuatro mil pesos ($ 4,000) entregará a la señora Castillo de González la cantidad que retenga en su poder, para que ella pueda continuar la publicacion de la obra.
