Posteriormente el Encargado de Negocios se dirigirá, por nota, al Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores solicitando se le conceda ser presentado al Jefe del Estado. En el día y a la hora fijados para la audiencia, lo recibirán en Palacio el Director General del Protocolo y el Jefe de la Casa Militar, quienes lo llevarán al Despacho del señor Presidente. En estas ceremonias se usará chaqué.
