Aislamiento o internación de personas y/o animales enfermos. Consiste en el aislamiento o internación de individuos o grupos de personas y/o animales, afectados por una enfermedad transmisible u otros riesgos ambientales, químicos y físicos, que pueda diseminarse o tener efectos en la salud de otras personas y/o animales susceptibles. El aislamiento se hará con base en certificado médico y/o veterinario expedido por autoridad sanitaria y se prolongará solo por el tiempo estrictamente necesario para que desaparezca el peligro de contagio o diseminación del riesgo.
