Una vez agotada la cuantía a la cual hace referencia el literal a) del artículo sexto del Decreto 1032 de 1991, si sobreviniere la necesidad de cubrir gastos por concepto de atención a las víctimas politraumatizadas o a la rehabilitación de las mismas se sujetarán a la autorización de la Junta Asesora del fonsat la cual se deberá emitir dentro de los treinta (30) días siguientes a la petición, para lo cual la Junta Médica del respectivo ente hospitalario o clínico deberá proferir un concepto o valoración del estado de salud del paciente víctima del accidente de tránsito.
