En cada Juzgado Superior, de Circuito o Municipal se llevará, en libro apropiado, un registro penal en que se insertarán los extractos de las providencias que enumera el artículo 689 y que en copia auténtica serán enviados mensualmente al Tribunal Superior correspondiente al Distrito en que haya nacido el procesado.
