A continuación del manifiesto se extenderá una diligencia que exprese la fecha de su presentación y la del despacho de la encomienda, que firmarán el administrador y el Contador, y se entregará uno de los ejemplares al consignatario o remitente, otro se remitirá, a la dirección General de Estadística y el otro quedará en el archivo de la oficina (Ley 85 de 1915).
