PROFESORES DE CUARTA CATEGORÍA. Para escalafonarse como Profesor de cuarta categoría, se requiere

Haber dictado un mínimo de quinientas (500) horas como profesor escalafonado de quinta categoría;

Adelantar y aprobar un curso de materias pedagógicas con duración no inferior a noventa (90) horas;

Haber hecho programación y parcelación de una asignatura de su especialidad para un período académico, aprobadas por la dirección del Instituto respectivo;

Concepto favorable del director del Instituto sobre su desempeño docente, de acuerdo al formato de evaluación del manual de procedimiento docente.
