Art. 1.° Los Administradores principales de Hacienda nacional de Panamá i Colon, así como los Capitanes de dichos puertos, al verificar la visita de los buques, i en vista de los documentos que deben serles presentados, tomarán datos esactos: 1.° del peso total de la correspondencia que venga a transitar por el Istmo: 2.° del número de pasajeros : 3.° de la cantidad de dinero y valores, i 4.° del peso total de las mercaderías.
