Los Personeros practicarán visitas mensuales a las respectivas Alcaldías y Juzgados Municipales, a fin de dar cumplimiento a lo dispuesto en el artículo 96 en lo que a dichas oficinas fuere aplicable. De las demoras e Irregularidades que en los asuntos penales observen darán inmediato aviso al Fiscal del correspondiente Distrito Judicial, con el objeto de que éste se encargue de realizar las gestiones conducentes a corregir las irregularidades anotadas y hacer efectivas las responsabilidades en que dichos funcionarios incurran por violaciones de la ley en las actuaciones penales.
