El descanso dominical se refiere al tiempo comprendido entre la hora ordinaria de suspensión de labores el día sábado y la hora ordinaria de comienzo de éstas el día lunes subsiguiente. Para los efectos del descanso dominical en ningún caso la labor del sábado podrá prolongarse hasta después de las veinticuatro horas de ese día, ni la labor del lunes podrá comenzar antes de las veinticuatro del domingo anterior.
