El Gobierno fijará, previo dictamen del servicio técnico respectivo, la extensión máxima de terreno adjudicable a cada colonizador o familia colonizadora: los requisitos que deben llenar el aspirante, y las seguridades que debe otorgar para garantizar la inversión del subsidio y el empleo de las herramientas en la colonización efectiva del baldío, en orden a obtener una mayor producción agrícola.
