Los Gobernadores de los Departamentos del Vaupés, Guainía y Guaviare tomarán las medidas necesarias para preservar el orden público y evitar la ocurrencia de nuevos actos violentos en sus respectivas jurisdicciones. En tal sentido, deberán coordinar con la fuerza pública el establecimiento de retenes y cordones de seguridad fluviales, terrestres y aéreos para proteger a la población civil.
