Art. 2223. Si se han prestado cosas fungibles que no sean dinero, se deberán restituir igual cantidad de cosas del mismo género i calidad, sea que el precio de ellas haya bajado o subido en el intervalo. i si esto no fuere posible i no lo exigiere el acreedor, podrá el mutuario pagar lo que valgan en el tiempo i lugar en que ha debido hacerse el pago.
