Para los fines del artículo anterior, se entiende por "turista con automóvil" el ciudadano residente en uno de los países fronterizos con Colombia, que sin intención de fijar su residencia ni establecerse comercialmente, ni ejercer empleo o actividad lucrativa alguna, ni enajenar o vender a ningún título el vehículo en que viaja, venga al país en su automóvil, con el sólo objeto de conocerlo en sus diversos aspectos o lo recorra por distracción o recreo.
