Cargos para el requisito de mando. Los cargos a que se refiere el artículo 42 del Decreto 2337 de 1971, en los cuales los Oficiales de las Fuerzas Militares pueden cumplir el requisito de mando exigido para el ascenso al grado inmediatamente superior, serán aquellos que se encuentren dentro de la respectiva línea de mando y estén previstos por la ley para cumplir en ellos tal requisito.
