Eríjase en Medellín, cuna del egregio ciudadano, y en el lugar que señale la Sociedad de Mejoras Públicas de dicha ciudad, una estatua en bronce del ilustre ex-Presidente.

En el pedestal se grabará la siguiente inscripción:

"A Carlos E. Restrepo, el Congreso de Colombia.

Año de 1937."
