Articulo 4º. Conversión de la multa en arresto. La multa impuesta como pena principal y no pagada dentro del término que señala la sentencia, se hará efectiva por la vía de la jurisdicción coactiva. Si no fuere su cobro por este medio, se convertirá en arresto a razón de un día por cada trescientos pesos o fracción. El arresto cesará cuando satisfaga la parte de la multa que no se haya cumplido con detención.
