Ley 1 de 1945 · Sobre servicio Militar Obligatorio

Todo varón colombiano está obligado dentro del año que cumple los 19 años de edad, a inscribirse para el servicio militar obligatorio, requisito en el cual no puede formular solicitudes de exención o aplazamiento. La inscripción debe hacerse en la forma que el Gobierno determine.

Parágrafo 1

Para asegurar el cumplimiento de las obligaciones que se deducen de la inscripción, los ciudadanos deberán otorgar fianza personal ante las autoridades del Servicio Territorial, hasta por $300.

Parágrafo 2

El fiador a que se refiere este artículo, solamente deberá reunir la condición de ser honorable, a juicio del comandante del Distrito Militar.
