Las levaduras naturales, vivas o muertas, y las levaduras artificiales preparadas, de que trata la posición 21,06 del artículo 59 del Decreto 3541 de 1983 están exentas del impuesto cuando la venta se efectúe por el productor de las mismas. En los demás casos, los vendedores de tales bienes no son responsables ante el fisco por la venta de los mismos.
