- Hecha la inscripción de un nacimiento, la oficina central indicará el código o complejo numeral que corresponde al folio dentro del orden de sucesión nacional, con el que marcará el ejemplar de su archivo y del que dará noticia a la oficina local para que lo estampe en el suyo. La oficina central dispondrá la cancelación de la inscripción, cuando compruebe que la persona objeto de ella ya se encontraba registrada.
