Ley 79 de 1988 · Por la cual se actualiza la legislación cooperativa

Las cooperativas podrán establecer en sus estatutos, la amortización parcial o total de los aportes sociales hechos por los asociados, mediante la constitución de un Fondo especial cuyos recursos provendrán del remanente a que se refiere el numeral 4º. del artículo 54 de la presente Ley. En este caso la amortización se hará en igualdad de condiciones para los asociados.

Parágrafo

Esta amortización será procedente cuando la cooperativa haya alcanzado un grado de desarrollo económico que le permita efectuar los reintegros y mantener y proyectar sus servicios, a juicio de la asamblea general.
