A partir de la entrada en vigencia de la Ley 1607 de 2012, el patrimonio bruto de las personas naturales extranjeras que sean residentes en Colombia y de las sucesiones ilíquidas de causantes extranjeros residentes en Colombia incluirá los bienes poseídos en el exterior.
