Si el oficial fallecido en servicio activo tiene 15 o más años de servicio, sus rientes, en el orden preferencial y términos fijados en el Artículo anterior, tienen derecho a una pensión mensual pagadera por el tesorero publico igual al 50% el sueldo correspondiente al grado del extinto.
