Cuando la Cámara de Representantes resuelva hacer uso de la facultad de acusar a algún funcionario público, elegirá por mayoría absoluta de votos a un miembro de su seno para que, en calidad de acusador, introduzca y sostenga la acusación ante el Senado. El Presidente de la Cámara de Representantes comunicará al Senado la resolución de acusación y el nombramiento de acusador.
