Las agremiaciones o sociedades científicas reconocidas por el Ministerio de Salud, presentarán a consideración del Ministro de Trabajo y Seguridad Social, para cada período, un candidato con la formación académica y experiencia en Salud Ocupacional, para integrar el Comité Nacional de Salud Ocupacional. El Ministro de Trabajo y Seguridad Social seleccionará de los candidatos propuestos por las agremiaciones o sociedades científicas, un representante.
