Queda prohibida la venta y consumo de bebidas embriagantes desde las seis (6) de la tarde del día anterior a aquel en que deban verificarse las votaciones hasta las seis (6) de la mañana del día siguiente a la elección. Los alcaldes municipales impondrán las sanciones correspondientes por violación de esta norma, de acuerdo con lo previsto en los respectivos Códigos de Policía.
