Los trabajadores se clasifican, para los fines del seguro, en las siguientes categorías, según el monto de su salario: De las anteriores categorías se han fijado los siguientes salarios diarios de base los cuales se liquidaran el aporte tripartica para el Seguro y los subsidios en casa de incapacidad temporal, las indemnizaciones y pensiones;
