Laboratorios clínicos de las IPS. Conforme al

Parágrafo

del artículo 4° del Decreto 77 de 1997, los laboratorios clínicos públicos y privados, de acuerdo con su especialidad, e independientemente de su grado de complejidad, deben realizar los diagnósticos de las enfermedades de alto poder epidémico, de alta transmisibilidad, de fuente común u otros que se requieran para facilitar la acción local de vigilancia en salud pública, las acciones de prevención y control de enfermedades y el control oportuno de brotes y epidemias.
