ARTICULO 4.1.9.0.2 .- PRORROGAS ESPECIALES. Por motivos que se le demuestren satisfactoriamente, la Superintendencia Bancaria puede conceder prórrogas a las entidades a que esta ley sea aplicable, en la forma siguiente

a)

Puede prorrogar por no más de un año el término dentro del cual tal establecimiento pueda empezar sus negocios;

b)

Puede prorrogar por no más de veinte días el término dentro del cual el Banco de la República o cualquier otra entidad deba presentar cualquier informe al Superintendente, y

c)

Puede prorrogar por el tiempo que estime conveniente, y que no exceda de dos (2) años, el plazo dentro del cual un establecimiento bancario debe, de acuerdo con esta ley, enajenar las acciones, bonos de renta ("income bonds") o seguridades análogas que, de acuerdo con su régimen de inversiones, no pueda poseer.
