Cuando el trabajador diere el aviso de que trata el artículo anterior y desee permanecer en Colombia, deberá solicitar al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores la confirmación de la visa respectiva. Será potestativo del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores concederla o negarla, teniendo en cuenta para ello los antecedentes del interesado y la conveniencia para la nación en materia laboral.
