Artículo octavo. Los padres tendrán derecho preferente a escoger el tipo de educación que habrá de darse a sus hijos. En defecto de éstos y a falta de persona responsable, corresponde al Estado asumir la educación de los menores, de acuerdo con su edad y aptitudes.
