El Gobierno queda facultado para imponer a los Bancos y a las demás instituciones de créditos que dejaren de cumplir las disposiciones legales a que están sometidas, multas de $100 a $1.000 según la gravedad de la infracción, a juicio del Gobierno.

Las resoluciones que dicte el Gobierno en virtud de este artículo, son apelables para ante el Consejo de Estado, quien puede confirmarlas, modificarlas o revocarlas.
